Where does my donation go?

Membership in the Philo T. Farnsworth Society occurs when a gift is made of $1000 or more to BYU Broadcasting. You may divide your gift to support more than one station and still be considered a member of the Society.

Contributions to any of our stations, KBYU-TV, KBYU-FM, BYU Television and BYU Radio are used exclusively to benefit that station's programming, to acquire programming, develop new programs and specials, as well as to fund day-to-day operations.

Can I designate where I'd like my donation to go?

Your contribution can be designated to any of the services of BYU Broadcasting, which includes: KBYU-TV, KBYU-FM, BYU Television or BYU-Radio. You can give to one or all of the stations and receive the benefits of each station you support.

Can I donate anonymously?

Many of our contributors choose to give anonymously. These supports are known simply as "Friends of KBYU."

Will I be able to access my account?

All of our members have a right to review their account at any time. Please call us at 1-800-298-5298 and we will give you any information you request.

What if I'm already a KBYU contributor?

We will have records of all of your gifts and are happy to accept additional gifts throughout the year. Many members who have a long time relationship with our organization and appreciate our programming have chosen to do so.

Tax receipts?

Every January, tax receipts are automatically sent out to every contributor in the past year. We can also supply them upon request.

Do you sell names?

We don't engage in selling names. Currently we trade names with the Festival Opera Company and we also give names to Brigham Young University. If you wish to have your name removed from these lists, we can easily do so.

What if I don't want to receive mailings?

We will remove your name from any of our mailings if you so desire. When you contact our office, let us know what mailings you wish to be excluded from.

How do I get transcripts of programs?

Our membership office can either locate transcripts for you or direct you to where you can obtain a copy. Be aware that some transcripts may not be available. We appreciate your understanding.
