Ordering Microfilm at a Family History Center
So you searched www.familysearch.org and found a reference to a source that you believe holds information about your family.
Now what? Go to Familyseach.org to find out where your closest
Family History Center is. Then take the information you printed or copied from the Internet
with you to the center. Once there, fill out a Microfilm and Microfiche Order Card as seen below. The volunteer staff will be able to tell
you the fee for postage and handling, which is usually in the vicinity of $3.50. Within one to three weeks, you will receive notification
from the FHC that your film or fiche has arrived. Generally, they will be kept at the center for three weeks before being returned, so
you'll want to be sure to quickly reserve time on one of your center's microfilm readers to search the film for clues to your family's past.
Good luck!
